This is a concept for Bonneville Salt Flat car. It is not a real car but hopefully someday it will exist and be able to race on the Salt Flats. The idea behind it is a rear engine Belly tanker but modified in a more modern direction. It is more of a study and I am sure if it existed in real life it would need certain modifications. For now this is my vision and I really think it would look cool running on the Salt Flats. It started out as a sketch I had drawn for my book The Hot Rod Art Book: Masters of Chicken Scratch. You can see the original sketch on the top I will be doing updates on the design and I even have a story to explain the car a little more. So look for updates and new artwork for it along with 3D renderings of the final design.
